Snap

Use the Here Snap feature to group both Here browser windows and desktop application windows (for example, Microsoft Excel). Windows that are grouped together with Snap move and minimize as a single unit.

Snap allows you to quickly organize and reorganize your desktop to suit your workflow.

  • You can have multiple groups of snapped windows at the same time.
  • Unsnap windows from one snapped group and snap them to another snapped group.
  • Change the layout of the windows in a snapped group.
  • Resize the individual windows in a snapped group.
  • Snap windows to any side of another window; you can also snap windows to any side of a window within a snapped group.
  • Switch between snapped groups as you would between windows.

To use Snap, shift-drag a window to a side of another window or snapped group. An overlay displays to guide you to the desired location.

To unsnap a window, shift-drag the window away from the other window or snapped group.
