Keyboard shortcuts

The keyboard shortcuts you use in Chrome and Microsoft Edge work in HERE Enterprise Browser. You can open, close, switch, navigate, bookmark, and print tabs from the keyboard, and save a supertab, without reaching for the mouse.

Where a browser menu item has a shortcut, the shortcut is shown next to the menu item.

How shortcuts behave

  • Shortcuts work in every top-level tab and window, on both Microsoft Windows and macOS.
  • A top-level tab can be a single tab or a supertab. Shortcuts behave the same way in both cases, and act on the top-level tab.
  • Back, forward, and reload act on the individual tab that has focus, including a tab inside a supertab.
  • If a web app defines the same shortcut for its own use, the app's shortcut takes precedence while the app has focus.
  • You can't change or customize shortcuts.

Other shortcuts

  • Editing shortcuts, such as copy, cut, paste, undo, redo, and select all, work as they do in other browsers.
  • Find in page (Control+F on Microsoft Windows, Command+F on macOS) searches across all the tabs in a supertab.
  • For zoom shortcuts for tabs and supertabs, see Zoom supertabs.
  • Access to developer tools is controlled by your administrator, so their shortcuts might not be available to you.
