"Experimental" APIs

When a Here™ API is marked or indicated as being "experimental," the API is in beta and Here™ is seeking feedback regarding the API’s capabilities. An experimental API will migrate to non-experimental status after a period of time that varies from case to case, but usually spans at least two releases of the Here™ Core Runtime.

An experimental API is fully tested and available for use in a production environment. However, be aware that feedback can result in changes to the API’s scope or shape. If you use an experimental API, be prepared to update application code when upgrading to a later version of Here™ Core package that contains it.
