Manage roles and permissions
Enterprise Browser provides the following different kind of role:
-
Collections of app permissions, which are defined when you add an app or website.
-
Supertab roles, which are collections of app permissions for a Supertab. See Manage Supertabs.
-
Admin roles, which are collections of permissions to perform different tasks in the admin console. For more information, see Manage admins.
App roles and permissions
You define permissions for web apps or websites when you add content. Permissions can be as broad or as specific as your environment requires. For more information, see Add content to your platform.
You then add permissions to roles, and assign roles to users. See Manage users and user access.
Supertab roles
A Supertab also requires a role, which typically consists of the permissions for its child apps plus any additional permissions you might require. You create and assign Supertab roles separately from other roles for app permissions. For more information, see Manage Supertabs.
