Dock

Here® Enterprise Browser's Dock gives you a single point of access to favorites, contents, bookmarks, notifications, and deep search. It streamlines your workflows and enhances your overall user experience.

Drag Handle​

When you first open the browser, Dock appears at the bottom of your screen. You can drag it around to place it where you want. Dock's location is saved for you when you restart the browser. If you again move it, the new location is saved.

This is your platform's logo, typically your organization's logo. If you are responsible for providing the logo, see Customize branding.

Content​

The integrated content panel allows you to browse and discover approved content directly from Dock; your administrator creates the root content directory. There's no limit to how many content items are at root level or in nested sub-folders. Dock automatically merges folders with the same name and removes duplicates to keep your content tidy and easy to navigate.

Bookmarks​

Easily access your bookmarked content from the bookmarks icon. You can also bookmark content within the integrated content panel.

Notifications​

The notifications icon gives you quick access to the notifications panel. If you have unread notifications, an indicator appears on the icon to alert you.

The search icon gives you instant access to the Deep Search feature. You can search not just for web and desktop apps but also inside apps, finding specific data like contacts, documents, incidents, and records from various services.

Favorites​

Approved content items in your Favorites directory now appear prominently on Dock for easy, single-click access.

You can personalize Dock by adding, removing, and reordering approved content items and bookmarked URLs in your Favorites directory. Your administrator can also do this.

You and your administrator cannot rearrange or move the Here icons to the left of your favorites.

Dock Control​

Access the following options from the Dock Control:

  • Always on Top
  • Minimize
  • Reset to Default
  • Quit Platform
